A Parade costume for a customer who owns a Saddlebred Ranch that is featured in the Rose Parade in California. The wearer of this piece will be driving a beautiful swan shaped carriage driven by three saddlebred horses. They wanted something that would give a nod to vintage circus ballerinas as well as a white swan costume. My Inspiration for the ornamentation on this outfit comes from one of the very beautiful symbols painted on Louise De Lorraine's room in the Chenonceau Castle in France. A variation on the feather theme with as a nod to western saddle show outfits.
A lace-up sweetheart brocade Bodice and Bolero in white and silver, with custom hand made trapunto ornamentation. Hand dyed sequin appliques, swarovski crystals, metallic bullion and fringe. This will be worn with a white tulle romantic full tutu skirt from Class Act Tutu.
